How to read the app’s data and interpretations, check references and recognize what remains unverified.
Official filings
Company statements and announcements are primary evidence for what a company disclosed. Brazilian and US coverage includes public CVM and SEC records where available. Coverage varies by issuer, filing and period; a missing field does not mean zero.
Market data and freshness
Quotes and indicators depend on providers, trading calendars and refresh schedules. Read the source and timestamp where shown. Do not assume a displayed value is a streaming quote or compare values from different periods as if they were simultaneous.
News and attribution
News belongs to its publishers. Links identify the original outlet; an AI summary is an interpretation of available reporting. Multiple articles repeating the same announcement are not necessarily independent evidence.
Facts, interpretation and scenarios
A sourced figure, an explanation of a mechanism and a conditional scenario are different things. AI can make errors in all three. Ask for the evidence behind a claim and keep hypotheses conditional. A scenario is not a price target or a promise of a future outcome.
How to check an answer
Open the cited document, locate the claim, and compare the company, reporting period, currency and scale. If the source does not support the answer, treat the claim as unverified. Research should make uncertainty visible rather than fill missing information with invented precision.
Editorial guides and corrections
The public guides are educational content published by Compound. Their update dates refer to editorial changes, not new market data. They contain research questions and reading methods; they are not personalized reports. Use the contact on the About page to identify a correction with its evidence.
Private information
Your personal portfolio and conversations are not part of these public guides. The Privacy Policy describes how account data and agent memory are handled. Public links should only contain material intended for public access.
