- Revenue
- Sales recognized in the reporting period. Revenue is not the same as cash collected or profit.
- Operating income
- The operating result after operating costs and expenses. Check the issuer’s statement and accounting basis.
- Operating margin
- Operating income divided by revenue. A change in margin is measured in percentage points when comparing two percentages.
- Fiscal year
- The company’s reporting year, which can end outside December. Check the actual start and end dates.
- GAAP and non-GAAP
- Reported accounting measures and adjusted measures are different bases. Check the reconciliation before comparing them.
- Primary source
- The original filing or issuer disclosure. A link to a source only supports claims actually present in that source.
