1. Who we are and what we offer
Compound is a market-tracking and AI-assisted analysis platform. We gather quotes, public financial statements and news from press outlets, and we offer AI-generated summaries and reports about that material.
The agent has MEMORY: it keeps your conversations, a summary of each one and the investment criteria you reveal over time, so the next conversation picks up where the previous one left off. This is a core part of the service, not an add-on. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is kept, and the app shows all of it under Profile → Agent’s mind, where you can correct or delete whatever you want.
The service is delivered over the internet, on an as-is basis, with continuous improvements and changes.
2. Account
Access to the agent’s features requires an account, created through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.
Each account is personal. Sharing credentials or reselling access is not allowed.
You can close your account whenever you want. When you do, we delete lists, portfolio, alerts, theses, conversations with the agent and everything it kept about you; billing records are retained for the legally required period, because they are the tax record of the transaction.
3. Nature of the content: please read carefully
Compound is NOT investment advice, is NOT securities research in the regulatory sense and does NOT issue recommendations to buy, sell or hold any asset.
Our team and our AI agent are not securities analysts registered with the CVM. The content is informational and educational.
All AI-generated content may contain errors, outdated information or mistaken interpretation. Quotes are delayed by up to 15 minutes and are not suitable for execution decisions.
When we reproduce third-party opinion (research firms, press outlets), the source is always attributed. That opinion belongs to whoever issued it, not to us.
Investment decisions are exclusively yours. We are not liable for losses arising from the use of the content.
4. Subscription, renewal and cancellation
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through the payment processor Stripe. The applicable prices are the ones displayed at the time of purchase.
Renewal is automatic at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time under Profile → Manage subscription, without talking to anyone. Access stays active until the end of the period already paid for, with no penalty.
Right of withdrawal: within 7 days of your first purchase, you may withdraw and receive a full refund, under Article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Cancel from the panel and write to contato@compound.app.br to request the refund.
Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance and apply only to future periods. Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up for until the end of the current period.
5. One-off credits
Beyond the plans, you can buy credit packs to use the agent beyond your monthly allowance. One message uses 1 credit; a deep research report uses 10, because that is what it actually costs to produce.
CREDITS DO NOT EXPIRE. You paid for them, and zeroing the balance at month’s end would mean keeping money for a service not delivered.
Your plan’s allowance is always spent BEFORE purchased credits. The balance is a reserve, and it only kicks in when the month’s allowance runs out — the opposite would make the extra you paid for vanish while you still had usage rights.
Subscribing to a plan neither consumes nor cancels credits you already bought: the plan renews the allowance and the balance stays intact underneath it.
Credits are personal and cannot be transferred between accounts.
6. Usage limits
Each plan has monthly limits on messages with the agent and on deep research reports, stated on the plans page. These limits exist because every interaction has a real processing cost.
We also apply per-minute limits to curb automated use. Use through scripts, scraping or reselling the content is not allowed and may lead to account suspension.
7. Ownership and third-party content
We are not a news outlet. We summarize third-party articles always with attribution and a link to the original source, and we do not reproduce the full text.
Market data and financial statements come from official public sources and from third-party providers identified in the product documentation. Availability, delay and redistribution rights may vary by provider.
Compound’s software, brand and visual identity are ours. The reports you generate are yours for personal use.
8. Limitation of liability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. We depend on external data and infrastructure providers.
Our liability, in any event, is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event.
Nothing in these Terms waives rights guaranteed to you by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
9. Changes and jurisdiction
We may change these Terms. Material changes are communicated by e-mail or within the app with reasonable notice.
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer’s domicile have jurisdiction over any dispute.
